There's a new hotel making waves in Manhattan, and the designers pulled some inspo from an unexpected (or maybe not so unexpected, if you know me) place!
Turns out, Islyn Studio looked to European sleeper trains *and* Japanese capsule hotels for the compact room vibes. It's all about crafting a private sanctuary for solo travellers in the middle of NYC. That thoughtful use of space, where every inch serves a purpose and feels intentionally comforting rather than cramped – that's a concept Japan absolutely nails, and it's cool to see it reimagined for a Manhattan stay.
