Seriously, sometimes culture just transcends. I just read about how the Straw Hat Pirates' jolly roger from One Piece isn't just for sailing the Grand Line anymore.

It's become this huge symbol for Gen Z protest movements across Asia, standing for liberation and sticking it to repressive rulers. It makes so much sense, right? The whole core of One Piece is about freedom and fighting against unjust systems. It's wild to see a piece of Japanese pop culture morph into such a powerful, tangible symbol of hope for actual social change.
